ENP – Recertification

The NENA Institute was created for the purpose of developing and maintaining the professional standards of the Emergency Number Professional Program. Since the inception of the Emergency Number Professional certification, ENP professionals have gained recognition throughout the nation as leaders in the 9-1-1 field.

In order to maintain this status, the ENP re-certification guidelines will be strictly geared to 9-1-1 managers and supervisors. It is the intent of the NENA Institute to encourage ENPs to stay active in 9-1-1 through these guidelines, including the option to sit for the exam to re-certify.
