ENP RETIRED

The NENA Institute Board has incorporated additional value to ENP Certification by adding an ENP Retired designation for those ENPs that have retired and are no longer active in the 9-1-1 profession, yet wish to retain the ENP designation. Individuals must have re-certified two or more times in order to become ENP Retired.

Should the individual return to active employment in the emergency communications profession, the designation may no longer be used, and he/she is encouraged to reapply to become an active ENP.

There is no cost to be ENP Retired.

The NENA Institute Board hopes creating the ENP Retired designation will continue to recognize professionalism long after an ENP leaves the 9-1-1 industry.
