FCC 01-295, Granting of Nextel Waiver; Separate Statements of Commissioners October 2, 2001 Revision of the commission’s rules to ensure compatibility with enhanced 911 emergency calling systems.  Conditionally granted Nextel implementation plan and request for relief from wireless E911 Phase II rule to October 1, 2001.
FCC 01-297, Granting of Sprint Waiver; Separate Statements of Commissioners October 2, 2001 Revision of the commission’s rules to ensure compatibility with enhanced 911 emergency calling systems.  Conditionally granted Sprint’s implementation plan and request for relief from wireless E911 Phase II rule effective October 1, 2001.

FCC 01-296, Granting of Cingular Waiver; Separate Statements of Commissioners October 2, 2001 Revision of the commission’s rules to ensure compatibility with enhanced 911 emergency calling systems.  Conditionally granted the Cingular petition for waiver of the wireless E911 Phase II rules with respect to the use of E-OTD for its GSM network.
FCC 01-294, Granting of AT& T Waiver; Separate Statements of Commissioners October 2, 2001 Revision of the commission’s rules to ensure compatibility with enhanced 911 emergency calling systems. Conditionally granted the AT & T petition for relief from the wireless E911 Phase II rules with respect to the use of E-OTD for its GSM network effective October 1, 2001..
